How to Get to Sayyod Yurt Camp | From Tashkent, Samarkand & Jizzakh

Where we are

Sayyod Yurt Camp is located in central Uzbekistan. The country's main highway and railway pass through Jizzakh, so there are plenty of transport options — trains from anywhere in the country, or buses from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and other main cities.

Easiest option: we can organize a private transfer from your hotel in Tashkent, Samarkand or Bukhara directly to the camp for $50–75 per car, or pick you up from Jizzakh train/bus station for 350,000 UZS. Contact us to arrange it.

From Tashkent

Tashkent → yurt camp

By train or bus

Take the Afrosiab high-speed train, Sharq train or any slow train from Tashkent's North (Afrosiab) or South stations to Jizzakh (1.5–2.5 h). Buses to Jizzakh leave from Tashkent Bus Station near Olmazor metro every 3 hours.
From the Jizzakh train or bus station, take a town taxi to the 'Gorod' taxi rank (≈ 10,000 UZS).
From 'Gorod', take a shared taxi toward Bog'don (old name: Forish) — ≈ 35,000 UZS/person, 45 min. Ask the driver in advance to drop you at the bus stop in Asmansay village (58 km).
At the Asmansay bus stop, take a private taxi 10 km to Sayyod village (≈ 50,000 UZS).

By shared taxi

Take a shared taxi to Bog'don from near the 'Tashkent Lada' car service center by Olmazor metro — 130,000 UZS/person, leaves when 4 passengers are on board. Last taxi around midday.
Tell the driver while still in Tashkent that you're going to Sayyod village, so he drops you at the Asmansay bus stop (≈ 3.5 h).
From Asmansay, take a private taxi to Sayyod village (≈ 50,000 UZS).

From Samarkand

Samarkand → yurt camp

By train or bus

Take the Afrosiab, Sharq or any slow train from Samarkand to Jizzakh (1–1.5 h). Buses leave from Ulugbek Bus Station (near Ulugbek Observatory) every hour.
In Jizzakh, take a town taxi to the 'Gorod' taxi rank (≈ 10,000 UZS).
From 'Gorod', take a shared taxi toward Bog'don, get off at the Asmansay bus stop (≈ 35,000 UZS/person, 45 min).
From Asmansay, take a private taxi to Sayyod village (≈ 50,000 UZS).

By shared taxi

Take a shared taxi from 'Ulugbek' bus station in Samarkand to the Stansiya taxi rank in Jizzakh (70,000 UZS/person, leaves with 4 passengers).
Take a town taxi to 'Gorod' (≈ 10,000 UZS) — or ask your Samarkand driver to take you there directly for up to 10,000 UZS extra.
From 'Gorod', shared taxi toward Bog'don to the Asmansay bus stop, then a private taxi to Sayyod village.
